The Trump administration has taken actions that threaten our freedoms, our health, our environment, our culture, our alliances, and the institutions that safeguard them. This is a moment for action. Together, we must stand up for basic human rights and protect the democratic values that future generations depend on.
The DanversDems Congressional Candidate Forum was a memorable evening of civic engagement, drawing a capacity crowd to historic Tapley Memorial Hall. Attendees heard directly from all six Democratic candidates seeking the party's nomination for Congress: Bethany Anders-Beck, John Beccia, Jamie Belsito, Daniel Koh, Dr. Mariah Lancaster, and Tram Nguyen.
Candidates addressed a wide range of questions submitted by DanversDems members, offering their perspectives on affordability for young people and seniors, healthcare, artificial intelligence, protecting our democracy, local priorities, the future of the Democratic Party, and the values that guide their public service. The thoughtful discussion gave attendees an opportunity to compare the candidates' ideas and leadership styles in an engaging and respectful forum.
