Due to the nor’easter expected to visit us this weekend, we are canceling the (Almost Still) Summer Social Picnic scheduled for this Sunday, September 27.
We had such a great response to this event that it is especially unfortunate that we have to cancel. We thank everyone who planned to join us and everyone who donated to the event. We also want to thank Liz, Lucy, and the Blue Crew for all their work to make this an enjoyable day.
We will look at holding an event in the future. In the meantime, we will place your donations into the Al Gore Lock Box (you may need to be of a certain age to recognize the reference!) to be used when we decide on a new event.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at a future gathering.
